Minnie Lee Colley

Minnie Lee Goode Colley, 92, died on March 26, 2013. She was born in Thomaston, Georgia on December 18, 1920. Her parents, the late Thomas B. Goode and Josephine Self Goode passed away at an early age. She married Alton Colley on April 15, 1944 and they  traveled the world prior to making their home in Dunnellon.  Alton passed away in 2005.

Besides her husband Minnie is preceded in death by her sisters Bennie Stewart and Lucille Eversole.

She is survived by her  three brothers, George Goode, Baine Goode and James M. Goode ; Mr. Colley’s sister and husband and several nieces, great-nieces, and great-great-nieces and nephews.

“Miss Lee”, as she was known by so many, also leaves many friends at Lighthouse Baptist Church and throughout  the area. She will be missed by all.

Memorial Services will take place at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 974 W. G. Martinelli Blvd., Citrus Springs, FL  on Sunday, April 14 at 11 A.M.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mrs. Colley’s memory to Lighthouse Baptist Church or HPH Hospice of Citrus County.
