Nancy B. Harrison

A beautiful soul, Nancy Harrison left this earth on Friday, December 30, 2022 after a tiring five years of battling various health issues. She is finally at peace and a beautiful angel above watching over all of us!

Nancy was born in Hartford, Ct to June and Edward Bartold, where she was raised most of her life. Her growing up years were mostly spent with her beloved Angela “Grami” Jascot where she learned to cook, shop and learn about her polish heritage. Her teenage years would find her working in the tobacco fields or making pizzas in the local pizzeria, and spending special time with her long lifetime best friend Dian Estabrook Creesy. At age 19, she fell in love and married Nate Harrison, and had two  children together, moved to south Florida Palm Beach Gardens and continued raising her loving family. After 23 years, Nancy met Richard “Rick “ Chester, whom had two children. They fell in love and began raising another family together.  Nancy spent her years raising both her families as a cosmetologist. She loved being around people and really put her heart and soul into making each one look the best they possibly could.

Her last twenty years were spent in northern Florida, “Morriston”, in her special home she had in the Goethe forest where her and Rick resided. Nancy enjoyed so many things, but some of her favorites were Shirley Temple movies, listening to Patsy Cline, taking drives by the beach, visiting with her Aunt “Ev” Evelyn, and her favorite food was lobster! If you would like to honor her with a donation, Nancy loved the charity for St. Jude’s!

She is preceded in death by sister Karen Bartold Szewzyk and brother Edward “Eddie” Bartold.

She is survived by  her husband, Richard “Rick” Chester; her brother, David Bartold; her aunt, Evelyn Bartold; her daughter, Kim A. Harrison Kirkwood (Keith); her son, Jamie C. Harrison (Bridget); her bonus daughters, Jessica Chester Cuebas (Carlos),  Jennifer Chester Drake (John), Teri Watson (William) and her grandchildren, Brandie Kirkwood ( Dylan), Kalie Kirkwood, Makayla Mercado ( Brad), Marijane Bowman and Michael Drake.

Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at 2PM in the chapel of Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon. There will be a Memorial Visitation starting at 1PM until service time.
