Nelda Jeannie Decker

NELDA JEAN DECKER, age 84 of Citrus Springs, died Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at the Hospice House in Lecanto.  Mrs. Decker was born in Bluefield, West Virginia on December 21, 1926 to the late Victor & Irene (Francisco) Herndon and moved here in 1980 from Charleston, West Virginia.  She was a retired elementary school teacher.  Her memberships include Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church of Citrus Springs and the Red Hat Society.  Survivors include her loving husband of 64 years, Harry J. Decker, her son, Joseph Bruce Decker of Frankford, WV, her daughter, Candance Huffman of Pinch, WV, her sister, Patty Blanton of Idaho, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  Her body will be lovingly donated to the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida for anatomical research.   Roberts Funeral Home, Dunnellon.
