Nelwyn Mary (Reynolds) Mclaughlan

Nelwyn Mary(Reynolds) McLaughlan 69, passed away at ther home in Dunnellon, Florida on October 19, 2013.

Nelwyn was born June 18, 1944 in Sterling, Illinois and spent her early years on a farm in Proffits Town, Illinois before moving to Largo, Florida in the early 1950's. She graduated from Largo High School in 1962 where she met her husband of 50 years, Neil Holmes McLaughlan on December 31, 1959. They married on February 9, 1963.

Nelwyn had a career as a graphic artist and business owner and spent her entire life caring for her family and pets, but she was also a talented artist, musician, dancer and lover of all animals. Other interests she enjoyed included fishing, cooking and playing Bunko with her friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Merritt Clifford Reynolds and her mother Lila Natalie Wiberg.

Survivors include her husband, Neil Holmes McLaughlan, son, Todd Holmes McLaughlan, daughter, Jennifer McLaughlan, daughter-in-law, Brenda McLaughlan, brother, Dennis Reynolds and grandchildren Lacie and Tiffany McLaughlan.

There will be no services per Nelwyn's request but her desire was for contributions to be made to the following organizations:
