DOBBS, OLIN
Olin (Pete) Dobbs, 84, of Dunnellon, Florida, passed away on March 27th, 2014.
Olin was born in Gibbs, Mo. on June 6th, 1929.
Olin is survived by his loving wife of 63 years; Annabelle of Dunnellon, Fl.; children; Kathy (Ray) Sanders of Harrison, Oh., and Patty (Dennie) Adams of Bradenton, Fl.; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and other family and friends.
Olin is preceded in death by his parents, William A. Dobbs and Luella Stewart, 2 brothers & 2 sisters.
He achieved his associates’ degree, was a veteran of the Marine Corp.’s, and worked as a Postal Carrier for the U.S. Post Office of Quincy, Il. He was an active member of First United Methodist Church of Dunnellon, National Association of Watch & Clock Collectors, Rainbow Rivers Club, Honorary Member of Dunnellon Chamber of Commerce, Master Gardener of Citrus Co. Chapter and for the past 20 years he worked with Citrus County Fair in the Horticultural Building. Olin (Pete) will be greatly missed by many.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00PM Monday at First United Methodist Church, Rev. Eddie Fulford officiating. Visitation will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, at First United Methodist Church. Internment will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
