JOHN, Patricia Mae, 83, Dunnellon, passed peacefully on Friday, July 5, 2013. She was the loving wife of 63 years to Cal John.
Patricia was born July 7th, 1929. She graduated from Redford High School in Redford, MI. She was a retired retail associate. A long time resident of Rainbow Springs, Patricia was an avid golfer and former member of the Rainbow Springs 9er’s. She had a beautiful smile and a wonderful laugh. She loved food, cooking and entertaining in her home. She was greatly passionate about flowers as well as crafting and knitting. The greatest legacy Patricia leaves is her commitment to family and tradition. Her memories will continue to live through the many generations she has inspired through her remarkable generosity and willingness to do for others.
She is survived by her husband, her three children: Michael John of Dearborn, MI, Patrick John of Shelton, CT, Judy Lentine of Dunnellon, FL; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She took immense pride in her family, which brought her great joy.
Memorial Services will be held at Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon on Sunday, July 7, 2013 at 1:00 PM. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
The family asks that donations be made to charity of choice in honor of Patricia in lieu of flowers.
