Patricia Ann LeMieux, a daughter given by the Lord to George and Catherine Hoey, was born in New YorkCity, New York on November 23, 1933 and died in her Dunnellon home surrounded by her children early Friday morning, May 13th following a brave battle with cancer. In the days prior to her passing she had expressed to her family her desire to have her suffering be over and to depart and be with the Lord.
Today we rejoice in the knowledge that she has passed the barrier of time as we know it and is forever at home with the Savior she faithfully served her whole life. Patricia LeMieux was the beloved wife of the late James E. LeMieux together, for more than 33 years; they experienced the changing scenes of life in their joyous and fruitful companionship, which the Lord had entrusted to them. She dedicated her life to caring for her children and grandchildren.
Patricia was the loving mother of John G. Raynor, Roger T. Raynor, Patrick (Patti) M. LeMieux, Catherine (late Tony) A. Prevesk, Georgette (Lori) LeMieux and Mary (Trevor) E. Durette; proud grandmother of 19 , dearest great-grandmother of 11; dear sister of Betty Smith and dear sister of George Hoey; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Christian family, friends, brothers and sisters, are indeed the most meaningful gifts of life. Then I heard a voice from heaven say, "Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on." "Yes," says the Spirit, "they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them." (Revelation 14:13).
