Patricia Theresa (Daly) O’Sullivan, a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at the age of ninety-five.

Born and raised in Somerville, Massachusetts, Patricia grew up with a deep appreciation for friends, faith, and family. She attended Salem State College, attaining her bachelor’s degree in education. It was during these young years that she met the love of her life, Patrick O’Sullivan, at an Irish dance hall. The two married and began a life filled with devotion, laughter, and an ever-growing family.

Together, Patricia and Patrick made their home in Malden, Massachusetts. “Pat and Pat” became the heart of a large family, raising eight children while staying constantly surrounded by extended family and lifelong friends. They eventually moved to Reading, Massachusetts and later retired to The Villages, Florida after long careers in elementary and high school education.

Patricia was a woman of many talents and passions. She was a lifelong swimmer who found peace and vitality in the water well into her later years. She was also a dedicated Boston Celtics fan, played the piano and enjoyed writing poetry. Her strong Catholic faith anchored her through life’s joys and challenges. Her grandchildren will forever remember her signature gift: a five-dollar bill slipped into a birthday or Christmas card.

Patricia is now joyfully reunited with her beloved husband, Patrick, and her cherished daughter, Julie, whose memory lives on through her children, Matt and Ann. Patricia was predeceased by her father, Francis; her mother, Julia; and her siblings, Frank, Edward, and Joan.

Patricia is survived by her children, Gerard (Madlyn), Kevin (Carla), Mary (Robert), John (Sandra), Paula (Mark), Karen (Edward), and Brian (Landry); her brother, John; her twenty-two grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews across the United States, England, and Ireland.

A memorial service will be held in the spring at St. Theresa's Catholic Church, North Reading, MA.
