Dunnellon - Paul Andrew Stack passed into the care of the Lord on November 162013.
Born April 26, 1931 in Boston, MA. Paul was a resident of Florida for over 50 years.
Paul is a veteran from the Korean War where he served in the Air Force. He also loved
sports, he played baseball and softball and coached little league as well. He loved music
and had a wonderful voice and was the lead singer of his own band during the late 50's and 60's in the South Florida area. You could always find him either painting,creating, building or repairing while whistling a happy tune He loved to share any of his skills to friends and family. He also loved the water and worked as a life guard and a swimming teacher and taught his children how to swim.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Phyllis Venza Stack who was by his side until the end; five children, Paula Stack Harbour (Schenectady, all from Davie, Florida and Paul (Robyn) Pomerleau, (Dunnellon, FL) Michael (Karen) Kissell, North Miami;
grandchildren and great grand children. The family would like to extend a special thank you and appreciation to dose friends Phyllis and Joe Everman for their friendship, support, love and kindness and also to Sal and Barbara Ferranti for the love and support. Paul was rough around the edges but always willing to share knowledge, help out, make several funny jokes and would stop to talk to anyone and was always friendly. He will be sadly missed. Graveside service with military honors will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 22, 2013.
