Pierrette (Demenier) Murphy

Pierrette Murphy, 77, died Sunday, September 9, 2012 in Ocala, FL.  She was born in Rouffiac, France and was a master seamstress in leather and accessories.  She moved to Dunnellon in 2003 from North Attleboro, MA.

She enjoyed cooking, reading cookbooks, experimenting with new recipes; she was a gourmet Chef of French Cuisine.  She enjoyed working in her garden and spending time in nature.  She loved to travel with her husband and enjoyed their many trips to Europe, especially her homeland, France.

Survivors include her husband: Raymond, Dunnellon; Son: Eric (Michelle) Murphy, North Port, FL; Grandson: Thomas Murphy, North Port, FL: Mrs. Murphy has 3 brothers and 1 sister residing in France.

The Family will honor Mrs. Murphy’s wishes to be cremated with a private Family service scheduled for 11:30 am, Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.

In lieu of cards and flowers the Family requests donations in the memory of Mrs. Murphy to The American Cancer Society, Marion County Unit Office, 2210 SE 30th Avenue #301, Ocala, FL  34471
