Rena M. Landry

Rena M. Landry, 92, of Dunnellon, died on Saturday, January 19, 2013 in Williston, FL. She was the wife to the late Ernest Landry and daughter to the late Sylva C. and Alice E. (Fortier) Corriveau. Rena was born on June 27, 1920 in Holyoke, MA.

After retiring in 1971 she moved to Homestead, FL and then to Dunnellon several years later where she and her husband made their home.  Rena was a simple lady who enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading the daily newspaper (Ocala Star Banner) and watching tv. She was a former communicant of the Catholic Community of St. John the Baptist in Dunnellon.

Besides her husband Ernest, Rena is preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Corriveau and her sister, Vivian Ruggiero.

Left to cherish her memories is her son, Robert D. Landry, Bronson, FL; her grandchildren, Patrice Samson and Robert D. Landry, Jr. and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon.  Her family will be receiving friends one hour prior to service time. Inurnment will be held at a later date at the Notre Dame Cemetery in Holyoke, MA.
