Ricardo J. Escarra, II, (Ricky), 48, of Englewood, FL passed away October 25, 2026. He was born in Ft. Pierce, FL on January 15, 1978 and was the son to Rick Escarra and the late Genevalee Phelps.

He is survived by his son Angel J. Escarra; his father and stepmother, Rick and Peggy Escarra; his brother, Michael (Cassie) Escarra; his sister, Kelly (Jeff) Crisp; his God mother, Saran (Jerry) Zamora; his maternal grandparents, Robert and Linda Phelps; his aunt, Betty Wetzel; his uncle, Shayne Phelps; his aunt, Candy Escarra; his uncle, Carlos Escarra and his uncle Mike (Tina) Escarra ; his fiancé, Meagan Slade and many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his mother Genevalee Phelps, his paternal grandparents, Miguel and Sarita Escarra.

Ricky loved the Lord with all of his heart.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026 at 12:00 PM at Roberts Funeral Home, 19939 E. Pennsylvania Ave, Dunnellon, FL. His family will receive relatives and friends one hour prior to service time. Burial to follow services at Dunnellon Memorial Gardens.
