Richard “Rick” Cowart,

52, died suddenly on July 8, 2022 at his home in Dunnellon. He was born on May 23, 1970 in Escondido, CA. Rick was raised from the age of eleven in Orlando, FL and moved to Dunnellon in 2010 and was an automotive mechanic by trade. In his leisure time he enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle and watching Star Wars.

He leaves behind his mother, Dolores Cowart, Dunnellon; his wife, Taryn Clyatt, Dunnellon; his daughters, Allysa Cruz, Auburndale, FL, Ashley Gerkin, Winter Springs, Autumn Cowart, Raleigh, NC, and Sasha Thompson, Dunnellon; his brother, Bobby Cowart, Jr (Dawn); his grandchildren, Jaxson Gerkin and Evelyn Gerkin.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 11AM at Hunter Springs: 18 NE 2nd Street, Crystal River, FL.
