Richard Thomas Messick

Richard T. Messick, 45, died on December 5, 2017 at his residence in Dunnellon. He was born September 28, 1972 to the late Thomas Lavon Messick and Shirley(Rickett) Messick in Lakeland, FL. Richard served our country with the United States Marine Corp. He was employed as a Diesel Mechanic with Florida Detroit Diesel and Allison Company of Ocala. Richard enjoyed Mudboggin, hunting, fishing, airboats working on his truck, the outdoors but most importantly his family. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his sister Cheryl Sanchez.

Richard is survived by his wife Candace Messick; his children, Dakota Tillman, Tyler Messick, Caleb Adair, Angelina Messick, Elexus Messick, Julianna Messick and Chloe Messick; his sister, Tammie Messick ; many nieces and nephews and Kathy McDavid who raised Richard.
