Richard Steven Nemcovic, Sr.

Dunnellon- Richard Steven Nemcovic,Sr., 68, US Airforce Vietnam Veteran died unexpectedly on Friday, March 13, 2015 at his residence. He was born into this life on April 1, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois. He primarily grew up in Brooksville, FL before coming to Dunnellon twenty two years ago. He is a 1964 graduate of Hernando High School. Richard worked in the Hernando County School Transportation System from 1978-1987 and the Sumter County School Transportation System for seventeen years.  He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Stephen William Nemcovic, Jr. and his grandchild, Cash Harris Calvert.

Richard leaves behind his wife of 46yrs., Donna Nemcovic, Dunnellon; his children, Richard Steven Nemcovic, Jr.(Gina), Demorest, GA,  John Edward Nemcovic (Shelly), Mayo, FL and Stephanie Marie Calvert (Kevin), Coleman, AL; his parents, Steven William and  Lottie Theresa Nemcovic; his sister, Barbara Robinson (Phil), Land O’ Lakes, FL; his grandchildren, Trevor, Taylor, Cooper, Kathryn, Brody, Steven, Anna, Michael and Christopher.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon. There will be a public viewing on the same day one hour prior to service time at the Funeral Home. A reception has been planned at Dunnellon High School's Cafeteria following services.
