Robert Charles Chlapecka
March 19, 1949 — September 11, 2017
Mr. Robert Charles Chlapecka, 68, of Citrus Springs, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2017, at Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast in Lecanto. A native of Chicago, Illinois, Mr. Chlapecka moved here in 2011 from Chicago, where he worked as a chemical reactor operator. He was a member of VFW Post #10087 in Beverly Hills. He proudly served his country with the US Army in Viet Nam. His survivors include his wife Michelle, his sister Lorraine Larson (Larry), 10 nieces and 6 nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Michael and Anna Chlapecka, and his step daughter Carissa Kiaunis Luttinen. Memorial services for Mr. Chlapecka will be held at 11 AM on Friday, September 22, 2017, at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. Military honors will be provided by the Beverly Hills VFW Post # 10087.
