Robert L. Corliss

Dunnellon – Robert L. Corliss, 78, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2015 at Legacy House in Ocala. Bob was born in Claremont, NH to Leslie L. and Hazel Frost Corliss and raised across the Connecticut River in Windsor, VT. He graduated from Middlebury College in 1958 and moved to New York City where he worked for Mutual Life Insurance Company of NY (MONY). In 1966, he transferred to the new MONY Service Center in Syracuse, NY, rising to Vice President of Systems and Programming until retirement in 1989.
In 1960, he married Arlene “Tippy” Dell’Aquila. They have a son, Jeffrey, his wife Susan Hotz and three grandchildren, Mackenzie Corliss, Tyler Corliss and Emily Hotz. Bob is also survived by his brother Gary Corliss (Carol), nieces Cynthia Corliss Godwin (Kevin) and Jamie Corliss and nephews Gregory Corliss (Beth) and James McDonnell (Ashley).
Bob will be remembered for his love of family, his enjoyment of friends and his service to Holy Faith Episcopal Church.
A funeral service will be held at Holy Faith Episcopal church, Blue Cove, Dunnellon on Friday, May 8th at 10am.
