Robert Earl Kunz

Robert Earl Kunz, born on November 28, 1930 in Buffalo, New York. Passed away on June 5th, 2020 in Lake county Florida. First born son of Edward and Evelyn Kunz. Oldest of 4 brothers, Jim, Lenny and youngest brother Donny. Survived by loving wife of 67 years Rosemary Valentine Kunz. Father of 3, Ellen, Bobby and Anne Marie. Grandfather to 5, Katie, Hollan and Troy Visnius and Trey and Emily Fasano. Raised in Buffalo, New York, married Rosemary Valentine on June 20, 1953. Lived in Buffalo, Pittsburg, Columbus and moved to Orlando in 1983. Graduated High School and first job was a bag boy in the grocery business. Retired at 58 as a regional VP of Sales and Marketing for SuperFoods. Enjoyed golfing with friends, fishing with brother Jim, nature and a scenic drive to the unknown. Travelled with wife Rosemary around the world, such as Spain, Italy, England Germany and St. Martins. Spent summer vacations with Rosemary and 3 children, Ellen, Bobby and Anne Marie on Weslemkoon Lake in Ontario, Canada. After moving to Florida, spend the summer in Buffalo, New York with nephew Drew, niece Mary Jo and their families. Spent weekends hunting and fishing with younger brother Jim. He loved his cars, Buffalo Bills, Ohio State Buckeyes, a cold beer with wings, the Sunday crosswords and a boat trip with his wife, family and friends. Cherished Christmas and holidays with Anne Marie and her husband Art, and children Trey and Emily. Loved swimming, playing scrabble and card games with grandson Trey and granddaughter Emily. Retirement years were created in Bradenton, Florida and boating with wife Rosemary. He moved to Dunnellon, Florida for the last years of his life. He was loved by his wife and family and made the most out of every day.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Roberts Funeral Home. Reception to follow at the Womans Club in Dunnellon.
