Robert Shepherd

Mr. Robert “Bob” Shepherd, 81, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at the VA Hospital in Gainesville, FL.  He was a loving family man and a true patriot who served our country for 25 years.  After his retirement, he continued his passion for serving others through his Legacy Membership with VFW Post 4864 of Citrus Springs.  He served as State Commander, National Council Member and Quarter Master.  He is survived by his wife Stella, daughters Michelle Bowers and Lisa Chastain (Terry), granddaughters Danielle Mayeu and Caitlyn Chastain, and his great granddaughter Hayli Mayeu.
