Robert E. Trouesdale

Mr. Robert Earl Trouesdale, 92, of Dunnellon, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2015, at Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast.  A native of St. Petersburg, he moved to this area in 1964, coming here from St. Pete.  Robert was a WWII veteran, having served as a Pharmacy Mate First Class in the US Navy from 1943 through 1946.  He was later recalled to active duty during the Korean War, where he served as a Chief Petty Officer.  After his military service, Robert worked as a union carpenter.  He was employed at Florida Power, where he worked on several power plants as well as both cooling towers in Crystal River.  He was married to his first wife, Orene Trouesdale for 40 years.  She passed away in 1988.  He then married his second wife, Nellie Trouesdale, who passed away in 2008.  Funeral services for Mr. Trouesdale will be held at 11 AM Saturday, February 11, 2017, at Roberts Funeral Home, 19939 E.
