Robin Darlene Stein, 69, of Dunnellon, Florida, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Robin carried her New York strength and spirit with her throughout her life, later making her home in Dunnellon, Florida. On July 13, 1996, she married the love of her life, Charles Stein. Together they shared 29 beautiful years of marriage filled with devotion, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to family.
Robin was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her beloved husband, Charles Stein; her children, Jaclyn Biros (Jacob), Jocelyn D’Aprile (Salvatore), Michele Smith (Tim), AJ Biros, Chuck Stein (Brittany), and Gregory Stein. She was the proud grandmother of 14 grandchildren and cherished 8 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immeasurable joy to her life.
She is also survived by her siblings: Darrell Then (Kathy), Karen Malone (Harry), Sherri Bradley (David), and Kerry Then (Yanika); her in-laws Lou and Patty Minotti, Charlotte Katz, and Lucinda Rusk; as well as 8 nieces and 6 nephews who will forever remember her love and warmth.
Robin worked as a teacher-assistant, a role that perfectly reflected her nurturing heart. She had a gentle way of guiding and encouraging children, always offering patience, kindness, and a reassuring smile. Her caring spirit extended far beyond the classroom and into every corner of her life.
She had a deep love for the Tennessee mountains, finding peace and comfort in their beauty. Whether visiting or simply reminiscing, the mountains were one of her favorite places, a reflection of her steady and grounding presence.
Robin will be remembered for her generous heart and her fierce love for her family. Her home was a place of comfort, her laughter a source of light, and her love, a gift that will continue to live on in all who knew her.
A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon in which there will be a visitation for family and friends from 2-4. Deacon Eric MaKoid of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Dunnellon will be officiating.
Though she will be deeply missed, Robin’s legacy of love, faith, and family will remain in the hearts of those she touched forever.
