HUNT, Roger E.
On June 5, 2015, Roger E. Hunt, 88, went home to be with the Lord. He was born in Island Falls, Maine, on June 13, 1926, to Josiah and Thirza Hunt.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Ted (Margaret), Harmon (Ann), and his sister Janet. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Loraine; daughter Sherrie (John) Faunce; sons Scott (Liz), Kelly (Robin), grandchildren, John, Shane, Toby, Tim, Aprile, Ryan and nine great grandchildren.
Roger served his country in the US Navy during WWII.
He and Loraine came to Florida with a 2 ½ year old and a 6 month old to be a watchmaker in Tallahassee and learned all the jewelry business. He ended up in Ocala in 1958 and soon had his own store.
He will be missed by all family and friends. We all will rest in knowing where he is!
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, June 14, 2015, at Christ the King Anglican Church, 3801 N. US Highway 441, Ocala, FL.
