Ronald Eugene Stapleton

Mr. Ronald Eugene Stapleton, 73, of Dunnellon, passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021, at West Marion Community Hospital, with his family at his side.  Born in Winchester, Indiana, he spent over 35 years in Eaton, Indiana, and later moved to Deltona, FL, where he worked as an engineer at Lockheed Martin in Orlando.  After retiring, he and his wife moved from Deltona to Dunnellon 4 years ago.

Ron is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jane (Wrightsman) Stapleton, his daughter Michelle Webb (Mike) of Greeneville, TN, his brother Tom Stapleton (Judy), Muncie, Indiana, his 3 sisters, Sandy Cornett (Dave), Eaton, IN, Arlene Norris, Englewood, FL, Diane Ripberger (Richard), Anderson, IN, his brother-in-law Jeff Hirst, Hawaii, and his 3 grandchildren Justin, Deltona, FL, Tara, Deland, FL, and Jona, St. Petersburg, FL.  He was preceded in death by his son Jonathan Stapleton and his sister Cathy Hirst.
