Ronald James Stone, Sr.

Ronald James Stone, Sr., 75, of Dunnellon, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2025.

Ron was born on February 14, 1949, to James and Selenia Stone in Washington, D.C. Ron graduated from Wheaton High School in 1968.  He served his country from 1970 to 1971 in the Army. After the military, Ron devoted 28 years to the U.S. Capitol Police, retiring in 2002.  In retirement, he spent his time playing golf, visiting Jamaica, and enjoying his grandchildren.

Ron is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Mary Stone; three sons; Ronald Jr., James, and Stephen, six grandchildren; Kensley, Gabriel, Nicholas, Kellen, Jackson and Logan, and his two sisters, Lynette Presley and Sheila Moore.
