Ruth K. Strong

Ruth K. Strong, 94,
died on Monday, December 14, 2015 in Ocala, FL.






She leaves behind her sons, Ronald Strong, Dunnellon, FL and Clifford Strong, Davie, FL; her daughter, Robin Backlund, Dunnellon, FL; her ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Newton Strong in 2006 and her son David Strong in 2014.

Ruth was born on June 8, 1921 in Geneva, Ohio. She grew up in Ohio until the age of eight during the great depression era before moving to Florida. Ruth and her late husband Newton moved to Dunnellon in 1987 from Pembroke Pines. She was one of the first members of the Rainbow Springs Village Church in Dunnellon. Ruth enjoyed playing bunko, sewing, crafts especially jewlery making crafting her art as one of the original ladies of the Crafting Club in Rainbow Springs.

Ruth will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.
