Mr. Samuel Earl Osborne, 74, of Citrus Springs, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2016, at Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coase in Lecanto, FL.  A native of Spring City, Tennessee, he moved to this area in 1993, coming here from Chattanooga, TN.  He retired as a production supervisor with Dixie Yarns in Chattanooga after working there for many years.  Mr. Osborne proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was known for his love of fishing and NASCAR.  He was an active member of Riverland Baptist Church in Dunnellon, where he was instrumental in helping to build the church.  His survivors include his wife Carolyn, his son Tony, his 3 brothers Frankie, Johnny, and Dean, his sisters Wanda White, Nancy McCaque, Mary Lou Ingraham, Diane Osborne, and Debbie Latshaw, and his 3 grandchildren.  Visitation will be held at Riverland Baptist Church from 5-7 PM on Monday, March 14.  Funeral Services will be held at the church on Tuesday at 11 AM. After funeral services at his church, Mr. Osborne will be laid to rest in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
