Sandra Knipe

Sandra Ann Knipe, 77, of Dunnellon, died on March 13, 2021 at Avante at Ocala. She was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, and was the Daughter to the late William and Virginia (Skala) Luthi. Due to her Mother’s untimely death, Sandra was raised by her extended family.  Upon graduating from Rocky River High School, she worked at East Ohio Gas until 1973.  In 1964 she met Tom, and two years later they married. They both had many wonderful years together as they raised their daughter, Suzanne in Lakewood, Ohio. Following Tom's retirement in 1997, they decided to make their home in Dunnellon on the lot they had purchased back in 1970. Sandra was a member of Holy Faith Episcopal Church in Dunnellon, and was active with the E.C.W. and was a counter, as well as the chief bacon maker. Besides her involvement with church, Sandra was a beloved friend to many, especially her bestie, Donna Davies.  She will be greatly missed, but never forgotten as one day we will see her again in our Heavenly Home.

She leaves behind her husband of 54 years, William "Tom" Knipe, of Dunnellon, and her daughter, Suzanne Scott (Tom) of Ocala.

Memorial services celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Holy Faith Episcopal Church in Dunnellon.
