Sarah-Marie "Mopsy" (Golding) Anderson

ANDERSON, SARAH-MARIE
Sarah-Marie "Mopsy" Golding Anderson, 83, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on Friday, September 18, 2015. She was born March 7, 1932 in Shanghai, China to William and Minnie Harris Golding. She was a graduate of the American International School, Manila, Philippines; Stephens College, Columbia, MO; and University of Florida, Gainesville, FL. She earned a Master of Arts in early childhood education at Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, FL.  She was active in the Florida public school system for 30 years. She was a 50 year member of Delta Gamma sorority, enjoyed world travel and visited all seven continents.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Clinton Anthony Anderson, Jr.. She is survived by daughters Laurie Jean Anderson (Henry Johnson) of Jefferson, GA, and Barbara "Bobbi" Anderson Hamil (Brent) of Suwanee,  GA, two grandchildren, Hailey Jordan Hamil and Brenton Anderson "Andy" Hamil.

The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, Sept. 23 from 5:00 - 6:00pm at Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church, 3700 Pleasant Hill Road, Duluth, GA. A short memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm.
