Sean Michael Eason

Sean Michael Eason, 54, of Citrus Springs, passed away Saturday, August 30, 2025.  He was born May 11, 1971, in Queens, New York.  His survivors include his wife of 19 years, Shannon Colbert Eason, his mother Eileen O’Connor, his son Sean Dexter Patrick Eason, his daughter Ava Grace Eason, his sister Nirvana Lee (Evelyn), his sister-in-law Dawn (Lonnie’s wife), and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father William D. Bowers, and his brother Lonnie Eason.

Many will remember Sean from Jaguar Land Rover of Ocala, where he was recently promoted to the position of General Manager. He is described by his family as the world’s best father and the most patient, loving husband.  He was a doting son, brother, great uncle and friend. Sean loved to tell ridiculous Dad jokes and share his love for classic rock from Zeplin to Springsteen.  He loved Sci-Fi, comic books and cooking with his babies (used every pot in the house). He was a hard worker all of his life and generous with every penny he ever earned. He graduated with an AS degree from The College of Central Florida and began a path toward medicine at UF.  He found his calling in the car industry and worked his way up from sales to his recent promotion. He loved his family fiercely and worked tirelessly to provide a beautiful life for everyone around him. Sean was funny, quick witted, generous, handsome (carved from the finest marble) and has left behind some of his most loved qualities to be treasured in his beautiful children. He will be cherished, loved and missed always, always.
