Stanley Edward Starner of Dunnellon, FL, formerly of Crystal River, FL, Logan, OH, and Lancaster OH, passed away at age of 89 at Life and Love Assisted Living Facility of Citrus Springs, Fl, having lost his battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.

Stan was born in Dixie, OH to the late Edward and Grace (Perrigo) Starner on April 3, 1936. He was a 1954 graduate of New Lexington High School, and was a tool and die maker for many years.

He is survived by his wife Sharon (Moore) Starner of Dunnellon, his daughter Brenda Phillips, his grandson Zachary (Elizabeth) Phillips and great granddaughter Katherine Phillips, all of Lancaster. He is also survived by his sister Connie (Don) Kelley, sisters in law Sue Huffines and Martha Starner, brother in law Don Boorse, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Roger (Sue) and Gary (Martha), sister Joyce Boorse, wife Beverly and daughter Diane.

Sharon wished to express her gratitude to Life and Love Assisted Living and Vitas Hospice for their loving, compassionate care and to Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon for handling cremation arrangements.
