Stephen M. Moore

Dunnellon- Stephen M. Moore,60, died midmorning on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 while under the care of Hospice at the Legacy House in Ocala with his wife beside him. He was born into this life on November 9, 1959 in Bourne, MA. Stephen was the son  to the late Marvin Earl and Shirley Mae (Lisenby) Moore. In August of 1999 Stephen and his wife Sandra whom he married in 1986 moved to Florida from Massachusetts. From 1979 until 1985 he served in the United States Navy. Stephen was a truck driver for Swift transportation and retired due to medical reasons. He loved to sing in church and had a loving heart resembling his Lord and Savior. Stephen fought the fight and has finished the race and has kept the faith and now a crown of righteousness awaits him as he enters into the glorious city. “WE LOVE YOU AND WE WILL MISS YOU UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN”

He leaves behind his wife, Sandra Moore, Dunnellon; his sons, Stephen Michael Moore, Jr. (Sandy), Buzz Bay, MA, Ben Moore (Lauren), Dunnellon, FL; his daughter, Tina, Crystal River, FL; his brother, Allen Moore, Dunnellon, FL; his seven grandchildren; his son-in-law, Tony Evangelista and his furry dog, Lexy.

Funeral Services celebrating Stephen’s life will be held on Friday, December 20, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Riverland Baptist Church: 19600-19798 SW 59th Lane, Dunnellon, FL 34431. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family in visitation from 10-11 AM in the church. Burial will follow with military honors at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL at 2PM.

Pallbearers will be Kurt Carringer, Cody Robinson, Jerry Robinson, Major Hazelwood, Steve Cochran and Lee Dollar.
