Steven Anthony Moore

Steven Anthony Moore ,63, of Dunnellon, FL and formerly of Harrisburg, PA passed away on  January 8, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. Steven Attended John Harris High School in Harrisburg before proudly serving his country in the Vietnam War. Prior to his illness, Steven’s favorite hobbies included golfing with friends and cheering on his beloved  Yankees.

Steven was preceded in death by his mother June Moore of Harrisburg.

He is survived by his devoted wife Kelli Sherwood Moore with whom he made his home; his father Irvin Moore, Jr. and his sister Katie Moore, both of Norfolk, VA; his children, Erik and Steven Moore of Harrisburg , PA; his daughter, Samantha Moore of Middletown, PA; his stepson, Joel Sherwood of Denver, CO and the light of his life his grandson, Abraham Longacre IV.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 4:00 PM at Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon.  His family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday evening from 5-7 PM at the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers his family prefers memorial contributions will be greatly accepted in Steven’s memory by Hospice of Marion County: P.O. Box 4860, Ocala, FL  34478-4860.
