SUSAN OLSON MURRAY, age 61, of Dunnellon, FL, passed away on May 30, 2012 after an unexpected short illness. She was born in Bedford, IN on January 9, 1951 and was married to William C. Murray in 1969.
She is survived by her loving husband William "Bill" Murray and her daughters, Stephanie (Matthew) Price of Dunnellon, FL, and Michelle Draper of Carlisle, OH as well as her mother Marilyn Olson of Bedford IN; and brother N.Richard "Ric" (Treva) Olson also from Bedford.
Susan loved her three grandchildren: Connor Price, Logan Michelle Price, and Kennedy Michelle Draper, and was preceded in death by her father Norman R. Olson, Jr.
She graduated from Bedford High School and attended Louisiana State University Monroe. Most of her career she worked as an Executive Administrative Assistant for Electronic Data Systems [EDS] and Crittenton Hospital in Rochester, MI.
Susan was an avid golfer and actively involved in many activities with Rainbow Springs Ladies Golf Association, she recently was Co-Chairperson for the Susan G. Komen Foundation Annual Golf Tournament.
A mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Dunnellon with a Celebration of Life following.
