Thelma J. (Cook) Rogers

Mrs. Thelma J. Rogers, 86, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016 at her residence.  A native of Gainesville, she met Bob Rogers from Dunnellon, and in 1949 they were married and have maintained a home there ever since.

Survivors include her two daughters, Cheryl Ann Terry (Jimmy) and Constance Inez Duley (Bill), both of Dunnellon, her sister Jackie Griffin, Gainesville, FL, her two grandchildren, Katie Sawyer and Trey Terry, and four great grandchildren, Jackson and Joshua Terry, and Kennedy and Camille Sawyer.  She was preceded in death by her husband Bob Rogers in 2003.

Funeral services for Mrs. Rogers will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at Roberts Funeral Home, 19939 E. Pennsylvania Avenue, Dunnellon, with Rev. Jeffery Welch officiating.  Interment will follow in the Christie Leigh Memorial Cemetery in Romeo.
