Thomas Henry Cox

COX, Thomas H., age 87, of Dunnellon, Florida and formerly of Gulfport, FL passed away Thursday, January 15, 2015.  He was born on January 19, 1927 in Jeannette, PA, to his parents, Lorenzo and Irma Cox.  He married Lillian DeGraw on June 19, 1954 and they were married for 59 years.  Lillian and Tom raised their children in Gulfport, FL and they eventually moved to Dunnellon, FL.  Thomas was a retired U.S. Postal employee.   Survivors include his daughter, Sherri LaFerrara, his step-sons, Dennis Kayhart (Jean), Robert Kayhart (Pat), and Jerry Kayhart (Robbie) ten grandchildren, twenty four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, one sister and grand-daughter Alysia Kayhart.  A private memorial service will be held Saturday, February 28, 2015, at 3:00 p.m. at their property located in Dunnellon, FL.  Funeral arrangements under the care of the Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon.
