Thomas F. O'Neal

Thomas Franklyn O’Neal, 53, died on September 16, 2024 at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL. He was born in Orange County, FL on December 21, 1970. Tom moved to Dunnellon  from Kissimmee, FL in 2005 and then in 2019 he relocated to Columbia County. He worked for the Local# 673 Union Hall Operating Engineers. Thomas was a member of the True Life Apostolic Pentecostal Church in O’Brien, FL. In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing, old cars and hunting in which he was a member of the National Hunting Club.  He will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Bobby O’Neal in July of 2019.

Tom leaves behind his wife, Michelle O’Neal; his mother, Bonita O’Neal;  his brother, Byron O’Neal and his wife Bonnie O’Neal; his niece, Monica O’Neal and his nephew, Byron “Bojay” Lowell, Jr, whom he considered as his own children.

In lieu of flowers his family prefers everyone to bring a covered dish for a meal to follow burial.

Funeral Services will  be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Ft. Christmas Cemetery Chapel, 23643 Christmas Cemetery Rd, Christmas, FL 32709. Burial will follow services in Ft. Christmas Cemetery located on the same grounds as the chapel.
