Obituary


Thomas Harry Stanton, 90, died on June 5, 2015 at Legacy House in Ocala, FL. He was born into this life on January 29, 1925 to the late Thomas H. and Agnes S. (Brown) Stanton in Pittsburgh, PA.  Thomas moved to Dunnellon in 1987 from Queens, NY after a lengthy career  with the New York Police Department. He was a US Marine Corp WWII Veteran and a lifetime member of the VFW.

He is preceded in death by his wife Helen S. Stanton in 2012.

Those left to cherish his memories are his children, Thomas J. Stanton and Rhonda Hartman (Chris),  his brother James Stanton.

Memorial Service's celebrating Thomas' life will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon with Dr. Alan Holden officiating. He will be laid to rest by his late wife Helen at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
