Thurley R. Taylor

THURLEY R. TAYLOR, age 92, of Morriston, FL began her glorious days in Heaven, July 27, 2012.  She was born in Fort Pierce, FL  to Arthur R. & Laura Helseth.

She enjoyed fishing, gardening, making sweet tea for her family & friends, cooking, going to Church and fellowshipping.  She was known as “The Queen of Pidlin."

Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at the Fellowship Baptist Church.

Services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at the Fellowship Baptist Church with pastors John Outlaw and Rick Hooper officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Survivors include her sons: Everett (Dottie) Taylor, Morriston and Ted (Sandra) Taylor, Morriston, Daughter: Miriam (Kirk) Sutton, Crescent, OK, Brother: Harold (Betty) Helseth, Fort Pierce, FL.

Grandchildren: Gloria (Shawn) Horn, Crescent, OK; Walt Taylor, Morriston, FL; Rhett (Karen) Taylor, Morriston, FL; Roger Sutton, Fort Worth, TX; Ashley (Tim) Babiarz, Ocala, FL; Melanie (Josh) Cano, Morriston, FL; Laura Sutton, Edmonds, OK; Dallas Taylor, Montgomery AL; and Dixie (Hank) Jacobs, Crawfordville, FL as well as 20 Great-Grandchildren.

Mrs. Taylor was predeceased by her husband of 66 years Edward “Ted” Taylor and their great-grandson Ashton Taylor.
