The Family of Vaida Louise Bourne Catlett are saddened to announce her death on June 2, 2016.  Mrs. Catlett was born in Woodbridge, Virginia to Mr. and Mrs. James E. Bourne.  She was the wife of Thomas James Catlett USMC Ret.  Six brothers and sisters  preceded her in death.  Mrs. Catlett is survived by one daughter, Jane C. Pickett, husband, James E. Pickett,  son, Thomas J. Catlett, Jr. and wife Nancy B. Catlett,  seven grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.  One sister, Mrs. Rudy Castorina .   Mrs. Catlett was very active with the Ladies Auxillary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, serving as President  Ladies Auxillary  Post #5, Tampa, FL and President of Post 8698  in Inglis, FL.  She served  as Deputy Representative, Military Order of the Cootie Aux., Tampa VA Hosp. She was a Life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. The family would like to thank the staff of Cedar Creek Assisted Living for the loving care of their mother.   A very special thanks to the  Citrus Hospice organization  for the wonderful support the family received from them .   They are a remarkable organization of extremely caring people.
