Venkataraman Kameswaran

Ocala - Dr. V. Kameswaran passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2017. Born on May 31, 1943 in Thiruvaiyaru, Tamil Nadu, India to the late P. Venkataraman and Savithri. He was a retired organic chemist with American Cyanamid.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Carole Riley Kameswaran; daughter, Rebecca Kameswaran Sanders and her husband Jason; son, Anand Kameswaran and his wife Elizabeth; grandsons, Timothy S. Rogers and James P. Rogers. He was the eldest of the 7 children, followed by Lalitha; Baladevi; Yogalakshmi; Bhavani; Ramanathan; and Vasumathi.
Kamesh was awarded the Scientific Achievement award by American Cyanamid in 1978 and by the end of his career, received over 100 U.S. and International patents. He was also an avid gardener; model train enthusiast; golfer; genealogist; Boy Scouts of America leader; and a Little League Coach. He will brought a smile to everyone he met. He will be greatly missed by family and friends alike.
