Veronica Hannagan Brand

VERONICA HANNAGAN-BRAND, age 92, of Dunnellon, FL, died August 28, 2012 at her home with family.   She was a bookkeeper and worked for Mr. Dinkins, Sr. and Bill Fleming and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Dunnellon.

Veronica enjoyed her family, playing cards with her friends, and watching hummingbirds.  She was predeceased by her loving husband of 49 years James W. Hannagan as well as her son James R. Hannagan.  She is survived by her son William G. (Deborah) Hannagan of Dunnellon; her sister Constance Gardner of Flourtown, PA; three granddaughters: Amy Hannagan, Elaine Moore, and Kimm Cunningham as well as three great-grandchildren: Tyler and Justin Cunningham and Ryan Moore.

She also leaves behind step-sons from her second husband Leo Brand: Bernie (Donna); Steve (Maureen); Jake (Lola) and Ben (Carol) as well as 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren from them.

A memorial service celebrating Ms. Brand’s life will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, September 15, 2012, at Roberts Funeral Home in Dunnellon with Father Kevin MacGabhann of St. John the Baptist officiating.
