Vincent Eugene Mazzie

Vincent Eugene Mazzie (Mazziotta) (aka Sonny or Mazz), passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on May 31. Beloved father and grandfather he was pre-deceased by his longtime companion, Joan Morris. He is survived by sons Kirk Mazzie of Albuquerque, NM, Ken Mazzie and wife Donna of Palm Coast, FL and Karl Mazzie of Glendale, AZ, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Born 9/7/1927 in Kearny, NJ to Rocco Donato Mazziotta and Clair Forlenza. He served in WWII in the US Navy as Aerographer’s Mate Second, honorably discharged September 7, 1948. He lived in Wayne, NJ, Ship Bottom, NJ, Boynton Beach, FL and Dunnellon, FL before moving to Palm Coast, FL as his final destination. He led an active life enjoying hunting, golf, dancing, swimming, tennis, and travel, was a lifetime member of the Elks and Exalted Ruler of Manahawkin, NJ Elks and loved spending time with family and friends.

A private memorial service will be held at the Palm Coast Elks. RIP
