Vincent Edward Squazzo

June 23, 1923 — December 12, 2016

Dunnellon- Vincent E. Squazzo, 93, died on Monday afternoon on the 12th day of December at his residence in Rainbow Springs. He leaves behind his son, Christopher Squazzo(Nicole), Haddon Township, NJ; his daughters, Karen Squazzo, McDonough, GA, Tracy Little (Scott), Medford, NJ and Beth Squazzo, Deer Park, OH; his grandchildren, David, Katie (Brad), Danny (Jessica), Tommy, Chris, Nicholas, Natalie and his great grandchildren, Gian, Dylan, Aidan and Liam. He is preceded in death by his wife, Doris and his brother, Charles Raymond Squazzo. Vincent served our country with the United States Air Force during WWII and retiring from the armed forces in 1977. He earned his Bachelors of Science  from Rutgers University.

In 1996 Vincent and his late wife Doris moved to Rainbow Springs from Haddonfield, NJ. He was a former member of the American Legion and a member of St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church in Inverness.  Vincent enjoyed shooting pool and traveling. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather,  great grandfather and friend to many and will be deeply missed.

Memorial Services celebrating Vincent’s life will be held on Saturday, December , 17, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon with full military honors. Inurnment will be held at a later date  at Arlington National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers his family prefers memorial contributions to be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105-9959 or to Hospice of Marion County, P.O. Box 4860 Ocala, FL 34478-4860.
