Wesley Allen Phelps, 74, of Dunnellon, Florida, passed away on February 2, 2017.

Wesley was born in Baltimore, Maryland on December 7, 1942. He graduated from Glen Burnie High School. Served in the Navy for 4yrs.

Wesley was lovingly married to Lavonia Faye Cox  on December 6, 1964; they were happily married for 52 + years.

Wesley worked as an assembly line man for GM for 30 and retired; Sous Chef at Sabatino's; Haskins Production; and owned Phelps Production Services Inc. His hobbies and interest was working and helping others.

Wesley is survived by his wife Faye, his children: daughter Susan along with her husband Jimmy; his son Wesley Jr. his grandchildren MaKayla, and Grant; Angel Beemer great niece; his sister Beverly,  his brothers Donald, Harold with his wife Rose; his borther-in-law Donald with his wife Elaine, Chester, Joe Joe with his wife Marlene, BeBe with his wife Sue, Danny,  sister-in-laws Jean with husband Darrell, Mary with husband Vic and Martha with husband Ray; also including 100's of nieces, nephews and their families.

Wesley is preceded in death by father Joseph, mother Marie; brother Sonny, sister Gloria.

In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be given to Hospice of Marion County
