William (Bill) Avera, Jr., 72, of Ocala, Fl., sadly passed away on March 31st.
Bill was born in Moultrie, GA. on 10-02-1941. He was a former Plant Manager of Janitrol Aerospace. He was also a member of the Elks Club, and formerly the Board of Director for Boys & Girls Club and an avid fan of Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.
Bill is survived by his loving wife: Sandra; son: Drayton Avera III, Atlanta; step children: Les (Stephanie) Wade; Gail Avera, Atlanta: Wendy (Charles) Bowen, Ocala; grandchildren: Kelsey, Wade & Courtney Avera: Mandi Winslow & C.J. Bowen: Tyler, Hunter, Leslie & Carter Wade; great-grandchildren Bowen & Zoey Winslow. He will be missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his parents: William Drayton Avera, Sr. & Willie Thelma; sister: Mary Ann Webb.
Bill’s visitation will be held Friday from 10:00AM with services at 11:00AM at Roberts Funeral Home in Ocalawith Father Jonathan French officiating. Burial will follow in Ocala.
