Mr. William H. “Bill” Aynes, 86, of Ocala, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015 in Ocala. A native of Anderson, Indiana, he moved to Marion County in 1991, coming here from Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Aynes began his military career serving in the US Army during WWII. He later joined the US Air Force, and served during the Korean and Viet Nam Wars. He retired from the Air Force as a Master Sergeant. He was a lifetime member of VFW Post # 8794, Whitehall, Ohio. His survivors include his wife of 42 years, Myrna Aynes, his son William D. Aynes, his daughter Toni M. Duke, his two step-sons John and Jerry Lucas, 7 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Beulah Aynes, and his four brothers Floyd, Cecil, Bob, and Paul Eugene. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at Roberts Funeral Home, 19939 E. Pennsylvania Avenue, Dunnellon, FL. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until service time. Mr. Aynes will be buried in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL, with full military honors
