William Kilgore

William Kilgore, 95, died suddenly on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at his home in Dunnellon. He was born in Statham, Georgia on August 12, 1928 and was the son to the late William and Pearl (Jackson) Kilgore. William served our country with the United States Army in WWII. He retired from Dana Corporation. Also, he proudly served as a mason.  When William’s wife was still living, he enjoyed fishing and boating.  He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.

He is preceded death by his wife Mary Kilgore; his son and his eight siblings.

He leaves behind his son, William Kilgore, MI; his daughters, Donnette Kilgore, FL, and Eugenia Sheffield, MI; his sister, Willa Kilgore, OH; his eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

William will be laid to rest at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens in Ocala on December 27, 2023 at 2PM.
