William Earl Martin, Jr.

William Earl Martin Jr. of Palm Springs, FL Passed away in Dunnellon, FL Sunday November 20, 2016 at The Legacy House in Ocala, FL. He was 80 years old.

Mr. Martin was born February 25, 1936, in Martins Ferry, Ohio to the late Alberta (Klingensmith) Martin & William Earl Martin Sr.  William was retired from The City of West Palm Beach Police Department 1957-1980, and The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office 1981-2001. He Served in the U.S. Army from 10/29/1954-1957 as Specialist Third Class. He was a member of the Lantana Church of God, and also attended Calvary Assembly Church.

He was preceded in death by his 2nd wife Jean Elizabeth (Phillips) Martin, His Brother Daryl Earnest Martin, and his Biological Son Randy Marcus Martin.

William is Survived by his Children; Son: William Earl & Rosa Martin III, Daughter: Debra Lea (Martin) Siebert and Arthur Meadow, Son: Jeffery Alan Martin and Son: Timothy Lee and Missy Martin; also, surviving is his Children’s Mother Joyce (Martin) Moyer. He is also survived by a number of Grand Children and Great-Grand Children.

His Brother: Harry Elwood and Barbara Martin of Palm Springs, FL.

Stepchildren: Cynthia Phillips Nikkinen, Randy Phillips and James “Jimmy” Phillips.

As well as Tina Marie Butler and her three children Natasha, Jeremiah, and Beatrice.

William will be laid to rest at Lake Worth Memorial Gardens, Lake Worth FL.
