William Franklin Sweat

William “Bill” Sweat,

80, died on April 2, 2022 at his residence in Dunnellon, FL. Bill was born on November 11, 1941 in Homestead, FL and was the son to the late Emory and Mildred (Lauderdale) Sweat.  He moved to Dunnellon ten years ago from Geneva, FL. Bill was a carpenter and retired from Wamco Interiors in Longwood, FL as a Field Superintendent. He was a US Army Veteran and a former Freemason. Bill enjoyed just being a loving grandpa. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his son, David Sweat and his daughter, Cindy Bolton and his two sisters, Linda Shaw and Lee Highsmith.

His survivors include his wife, Jo Ann Sweat; his sons, Brian and Daniel Sweat; his brother, Barry Sweat; his six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
