Carol Ann Munt

Citrus Springs - Carol Ann Munt, 81, died unexpectedly and peacefully on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at her residence. She was born and raised in the United Kingdom. Carol was the daughter to the late William Jones and Edith (Harrison) Jones. She attained a degree in Practical Nursing before she moved with the entire family to the Swampscott Massachusetts in 1968. Carol lived in numerous locations and worked and various hospitals while in the New England area. After a short time in Kentucky, she then moved back to New Hampshire to be with family. While she lived in numerous states, her love for taking care of people was her passion. Later in life she decided she needed a change and made her final move down to Florida for the warm weather.  Carol picked up square and round dancing and enjoyed the weekly visits to dance and be with her newfound friends. Her pastime hobbies included needle point, cross stich and playing bridge. Carol believed in God and would worship at her local Episcopalian church until the pandemic hit. She will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends.

Carol is survived by her three sons, Andrew Munt, Royse City, TX, Stephen Munt, Centreville, VA and Michael Munt, Dunnellon, her sister, Diana, United Kingdom, and numerous grandkids and great grandkids.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 from 5-7 PM at Roberts Funeral Home in Dunnellon.
